It's a boy!

Add another Breeden boy to the family. Of course, he's due in June. All of Martha's grandsons were born in June. This makes four grandsons in June.
We are very excited. Jon is already taking advantage of me being out numbered. Apparently "all the guys" voted on what to have for appetizer and mom was voted out. I told him that the "Queen" gets four votes anyways.
We'll keep you updated on New Baby! Yay!

Round Two

Jonathan is going to be a big brother soon. We are now 18 weeks along with baby number two. Jon and I are very excited. So are our families. We hope to find out boy/girl in early February. YAY! We would be very happy with either. We'll keep you posted.

To fall into a habit is to begin to cease to be.

Jonathan has quit the pacifier! His teacher started it at school during naps, then we started skipping it at bedtime. It was quite easy for us. As long as he has his stuffed elephant, two stuffed monkeys, a very soft blanket, and the noise-maker machine - he's out like a light. He sleeps from 7:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. every night.
He's talking a lot more - new words every day it seems. Truck, shark, dog, ball, more, thank you, and cookie. Of course, most of these words are only pronounced so only Jon and I can understand. Cook-cook is cookie. He asks for this several times a day. He doesn't demand .. just drops the word every so often to see if he can get one. Very cute.
He just started saying Papa and Nanny (Ninny).
Little man is growing up so fast. He is such a joy.

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”

I can't remember who gave him the bathtub crayons for Christmas but they are really cool. He can draw on the tub and it just wipes off with a handy Winnie the Pooh scrubby.
He's becoming a little artist.

What's up, cuz?

Jonathan loves his cousins. He spent lots of time with them over the holidays. He enjoyed playing with them. He just didn't want Mommy or Daddy playing with anyone. He's going to have to get over his jealousy.
