Visiting His California Uncles

We made the trip to San Diego this weekend to visit my brother Mike. Jonathan did great on the flight there. He was pretty fussy during the trip - everything was new and different. But we had a great time. Jon's brother Jacob and his wife Annaleigh drove in from L.A. to see Jonathan also.

2 month check up

Doctor says Jonathan looks great.
11 pounds 2 ounces
23 1/2 inches
Happy and healthy!
He did pretty good with his vaccines. He was asleep - woke up to scream when he was poked - and went back to sleep.

Almost Seven Weeks

My little man has learned some tricks. He's melting my heart with his smiles. He loves when you tell him he's handsome. He gets the biggest grin on his little face. So sweet. He's sleeping in his crib, puts himself down for an afternoon nap, and loves to look at ceiling fans.

He's eating every four hours now. That helps me get things down around the house.

I'm going to have to go back to work at the end of the month, unless Jon wins the lottery by then. Cross your fingers.

Almost Five Weeks!

Jonathan is almost five weeks old! He's getting bigger, smiling more (mostly at mommy) and started sleeping in his crib. I guess my baby thinks he's too big for a cradle.

We have lots of good days - a few bad days. Tummy troubles hit on Monday and he screamed most of the day. I don't know how we got through it, but we did.

Two week check up

Doctor says Jonathan is a healthy little boy. He weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces on Friday - two weeks old. He was also 21 1/4 inches long. Doctor says he has big hands and should be a receiver for UT when he gets a little older. Dad may have him setting tile long before then, though.
