My Little Monkey

Jonathan loves to baby talk .. he still loves being outside .. he has his hands or a pacifier in his mouth all the time .. and he's drooling like crazy.

Kisses for Mommy

Such a sweet boy. So much sugar to give. I love it!

3 Months and Rolling!

Wow! Time flies. I can't believe I've been back to work for more than a month. It's fun - but very hard to not be with my baby all the time. Nanny is doing a good job. So is Daddy.

We did get to spend a week in Acapulco with my parents. It was so nice to have a week with all of them. My parents got to play Grandpa/Grandma to Jonathan all week .. giving Jon and I some alone time. We actually went to the pool for a swim together.

Jonathan also rolled over!!! It was during a Time Share Presentation. I think he was trying to get out of there. : ) He did so good during the whole trip - even on the play. He's such a wonderful baby.

He's up to 12 pounds - according to the scale at the airport where you weigh your luggage. Sleeping good - he only gets up once now to eat. You'd think I'd be getting more sleep - but I have to get up super early for work. Oh well. He's so cute and sweet it's all worth it.

Nanny Time

I go back to work in one week. I'm not sure I'm ready to leave my little guy. But this week we are practicing. Jon got the baby at 7 a.m. and gave him his first bottle. After trial and error with the bottles and fast-flowing nipples, we found something that worked right. They both did very well.

Then the shift change at 9 a.m. Nanny (that's what I'm calling my sister Megan now) arrived got a quick update of feedings, poops and pees. There were actually a lot of poops and pees in that first two hours of the morning.

It will take some adjusting, but we'll all figure it out. (Though I'm still hoping to win the lottery before next Monday.)

Visiting His California Uncles

We made the trip to San Diego this weekend to visit my brother Mike. Jonathan did great on the flight there. He was pretty fussy during the trip - everything was new and different. But we had a great time. Jon's brother Jacob and his wife Annaleigh drove in from L.A. to see Jonathan also.

Almost Seven Weeks

My little man has learned some tricks. He's melting my heart with his smiles. He loves when you tell him he's handsome. He gets the biggest grin on his little face. So sweet. He's sleeping in his crib, puts himself down for an afternoon nap, and loves to look at ceiling fans.
He's eating every four hours now. That helps me get things down around the house.
I'm going to have to go back to work at the end of the month, unless Jon wins the lottery by then. Cross your fingers.
